Steven Noland

Steven Noland has extensive work experience in software engineering, with roles at Liscio, Twitch, Curse Inc., and Digital Map Products. Starting in 2023, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Liscio. From 2017 to 2023, Steven worked at Twitch as a Software Engineer, where they played a major role in migrating the website from Ember to React, reducing sitewide latency by over 50 percent. Steven also led efforts to keep toolchains updated, improved accessibility by adding additional checks, and taught React Testing Library to other developers. At Twitch, they also served as the Accessibility Guild Co Lead, organizing events, and creating a safe space for members. In 2017, Steven worked briefly as a Software Engineer at Curse, Inc.
