Paul Amitai

Paul Amitai has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Paul began their career in 2006 as a Senior Curator and Program Manager at Eyebeam, where they curated and produced exhibitions and public programs. Paul then moved on to become a Course Leader and Lecturer at London College of Fashion, where they shaped the vision and strategy of the Creative Direction for Fashion program. In 2011, they joined Eyebeam once again, this time as a Project Director, where they led initiatives at the intersection of art and technology.

In 2012, Paul ventured into self-employment as a Cultural Producer and Strategist, collaborating with industry partners and producing exhibitions, performances, and workshops. During this time, they worked with notable clients such as Microsoft, Intel, and Mozilla.

In 2013, they joined Magnum Foundation as a Program Manager, where they designed and curated conferences, workshops, and fellowships for documentary photographers. Paul introduced digital tools and strategies to engage audiences and promote social justice issues.

Paul later transitioned to the role of Senior Strategy Director and is currently serving as the Executive Strategy Director, co-leading the agency across new business opportunities, marketing, thought leadership, and organizational management.

Paul Amitai has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Video and Sound Art from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Paul also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film Production and Electronic Music from the same university.
