Gary Forni

Gary Forni has a long and varied work experience. In 2020, they became the Chief Executive Officer of ListingSpark. From 2011 to the present, they have been an Angel Investor and Board Member for the Central Texas Angel Network. Gary has also served on the Board of Directors and Board of Advisors for Silicon Audio, JRThermal, OneDegree, and other start-ups focused on advancing capabilities and eliminating inefficiencies via SaaS solutions, marketplace creation, or the physical world. From 2017 to the present, they have been a Mentor for Techstars. Gary was also the Chief Operating Officer of ScaleFactor, Inc. from 2017 to 2019, where they focused on maturing the business, scaling processes and systems, and raising three rounds of VC investment totaling over $100 million. From 2011 to 2016, they were the CEO of Tuffwerx and Founding Partner of The Heavy Equipment Exchange, both of which were acquired by Blackrock Consulting Group in October 2016. From 2011 to the present, they have been a Board of Directors member of Incubation Station/SKU, an accelerator that provided a 90x ROI to investors. From 2010 to 2009, they were the CEO of HeatGenie, where they led the company from post-garage phase through over-subscribed Series A. Finally, from 2009 to 2011, they were the Vice President of BMG, a consultancy specializing in Startup Management, Strategy, Marketing, Business Development, and Partnerships.

Gary Forni earned a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, followed by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from National University.
