Tom Maeckelberghe has worked in the software engineering and web development fields since 2008. Tom began their career as a Ruby On Rails dev at Vooruit in 2008. In 2010, they moved to Vasco Data Security in the same role. Tom then joined Sumo Coders as a Ruby Developer in 2013. In 2016, they began working as a Freelance Web Developer. In 2013, they also began working at Q-music as a Web Developer. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Ring Twice (ex-ListMinut) as a Senior software-ingenieur.
Tom Maeckelberghe obtained a Bachelor's degree in New Media and Communication Technology with a focus on Computer Programming from Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen - Vlaamse Autonome Hogeschool between 2005 and 2008.
