Alex Eburne

Alex Eburne has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 1997 as a Technical Support/Network Engineer at Statacom Computers Ltd, Alex gained experience in computer repairs and network installations. They then worked at Bell Microproducts as a Developer, where they focused on projects related to order processing. Following this, Alex joined GfK as a Senior Application Developer, working mainly on large-scale customer satisfaction index projects.

In 2010, Alex joined IRIS Software Group as a Senior Software Engineer and later became a Development Team Leader. They played a key role in the development of the "IRIS Open Tax" system and managed compliance teams. After that, Alex joined Spacehive as the Head of Software Development, leading the growth of the development team and overseeing the platform's technical aspects.

In 2018, Alex took on the role of CTO at Apomatix. They were responsible for migrating the legacy product to Azure and building a new version of the software with a newly recruited development team. Currently, Alex works at Lit Fibre as the Lead Software Architect and Head of Software and Systems, demonstrating expertise in software and system management.

Alex Eburne attended Kingston University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science.
