Manee is the Distance Learning Coordinator for Literacy Minnesota’s Open Door Learning Centers. Since graduating from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in 2015, she has found herself gaining experience in the AmeriCorps Summer Reads program and Community Technology Empowerment Project (CTEP). This gives her a partial and unique insight to the work that Literacy Minnesota does with young and adult learners. Leading to her current position with Literacy Minnesota working primarily with adult learners, a goal she since had settled on after her CTEP experience.
One of her life passions is learning about stories in all formats (writing, reading, movies, storytelling, music, games, etc.). She believes that no matter who you are, staying a child at heart who can believe in stories and legends for the sheer joy of it is the greatest and hardest goal achievement in life. Her favorite TV series is Supernatural, while her best stress relievers are Asian dramas and role-playing tactical adventure games such as Final Fantasy, Genshin Impact, and Pokemon.
