Sacha Lyson

Sacha Lyson, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In their most recent role as Vice President of People at Literati, which started in 2023, they are responsible for overseeing the organization's people function. Prior to this, they served as Vice President of People at Hopdoddy Burger Bar from March 2023 to September 2023.

Before joining the hospitality industry, Sacha held the position of Director of People & Recruiting at Spot Insurance from July 2021 to June 2023. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in establishing the HR department and implementing various initiatives such as diversity recruiting practices and engagement programs. They also managed a team of HR professionals and talent acquisition specialists.

In their previous roles, Sacha served as a Human Resources Manager at Bunkhouse from November 2019 to July 2021, where they were responsible for workforce planning and talent management. They also worked as an Executive Recruiting Manager at Gateway Recruiting - Executive Recruiters from July 2018 to November 2019 and as the Director of HR & Operations at Journey School from February 2015 to July 2018.

Before entering the HR field, Sacha had experience in real estate as a Broker/Realtor at Windermere Real Estate-Northlake from January 2010 to June 2015. They also worked as a Human Resources/Office Manager at Capstone Solutions, Inc. from July 2014 to February 2015.

Sacha began their career in the US Navy, serving as a Storekeeper/HAZMAT Inventory Specialist from July 2006 to March 2008. With their extensive background in human resources, talent management, and operations, Sacha brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to their current role in leading people strategy and development.

Sacha Lyson, SHRM-SCP, holds a Master of Science degree in Leadership and Human Resources Development with an emphasis in Workforce Planning from Louisiana State University, which was completed in 2020. Sacha also earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Grand Canyon University, completed between 2011 and 2014. In addition to their degrees, Sacha holds various certifications including Stepping Stones to Enhanced Leadership from Austin SHRM and Certified Professional Coach (Executive Coach) from the Academy of Creative Coaching, both obtained in 2022. Sacha also obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in 2020.
