Rodney Cole

Rodney Cole, MST, CMI, currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Institute for Professionals in Taxation since June 2024 and holds the position of Director of Indirect Tax at Lithia Motors, Inc. since January 2022. With over a decade of experience in indirect tax roles, Rodney previously worked at Essilor Group, holding the positions of Director, Assistant Tax Director, and Manager Audit and Technology from November 2012 to December 2021, where responsibilities included sales tax audit management and tax technology. Earlier career highlights include roles such as Tax Manager at Raytheon Company and Senior Consultant at Ryan. Rodney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting/Management from Virginia Wesleyan College and a Masters of Science in Taxation from Old Dominion University.
