Joe Shi

Joe Shi has extensive experience in the field of engineering and battery compliance, currently serving as a Technical Specialist for powder engineering and battery compliance at Lithium Werks since May 2021. Prior to this role, Joe Shi held multiple positions at A123 Systems from July 2010 to March 2021, including Senior Research Scientist for LFP, Global Compliance Manager, and Senior Powder SQE, focusing on the R&D and manufacturing of LFP cathode powder as well as managing compliance with safety, environmental, and transportation regulations. Joe Shi's earlier experience includes a Research Scientist position at the University of Michigan, where research centered on nanoparticle-enabled intraoperative brain tumor imaging and therapy, and roles at Visteon and Ford. Joe Shi earned a degree from the University of Michigan from 1984 to 1990.
