Jon Lyons

Jon Lyons has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Jon started their career in 1998 as a Pre-press Technician and Graphic Design Assistant at Downtown Printing Center. Jon then worked as a Production Artist at Barnes & Noble before becoming a Freelance Designer and Production Artist at Boss Staffing. In 2000, they joined Dittus Communications, where they held various roles including Production Artist, Designer, and Web Developer. In 2004, Jon Lyons started their own business, Jon Lyons Design, as a Freelance Web Developer and Designer. From 2005 to 2021, they worked at E&E News, where they served as a Web Developer, Senior Software Engineer, and Co-Director of Engineering and User Experience. In 2021, they joined POLITICO as the Director of Product. Currently, Jon Lyons is employed at Litmus, starting as Senior Software Engineer and eventually becoming Principal Software Engineer in 2023.

Jon Lyons attended Mercer County Community College from 1993 to 1995, where they obtained an AA degree in Visual Arts Sculpture. Jon then pursued further education at Rutgers University from 1996 to 1999, earning a BA degree with a Visual Art Concentration in Sculpture.
