Michael Chekal

Michael Chekal is a seasoned software manager with extensive experience in software engineering across multiple industries, including commercial transportation, marine, and automotive. Currently serving as Software Manager at Littelfuse since March 2021, Michael oversees a diverse team that develops electronic switching and power distribution products while leading initiatives using LIN and CAN protocols. Prior roles include Software Engineering Manager at BWI Group, where responsibilities involved global team management and collaboration on software development across multiple locations. Michael also has a strong background as a Sr. Software Systems Architect, focusing on AUTOSAR standards for automotive applications, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Delphi, where contributions included the architecture of respiratory product software. Michael’s engineering career traces back to R&D roles at Hewlett Packard/Agilent and Difco Laboratories. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University.
