Hiba Kakish

Hiba Kakish has extensive work experience in the food industry. Hiba started their career at QualPro ltd. (AL ALALI Brand) as a QA Manager from October 1995 to January 1998. Hiba then joined Little Caesars Pizza as a Sr. Food Technologist from an unknown start date to 2011. Afterward, they served as an Adjunct Instructor at Henry Ford Community College from January 2009 to May 2011. Hiba then moved back to Little Caesars Pizza and held various positions, including New Product Development Manager from an unknown start date to October 2019, Director, New Product Development Commercialization from January 2018 to October 2019, Director of Quality Assurance from October 2019 to December 2021, and currently serves as the Director, Global Food Safety and Quality Assurance since December 2021. Hiba Kakish is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight to quality assurance and food safety programs, developing global standards and policies, managing crisis and recall situations, implementing global programs, overseeing product commercialization, and leading cross-functional teams for seamless launches.

Hiba Kakish holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Health with a specialization in Food Science & Nutrition from Jordan University of Science and Technology, which they obtained from 1986 to 1990. Hiba also has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Nutrition Science from the University at Buffalo, which they earned from 1991 to 1993. Apart from their degrees, they have obtained various certifications related to food safety and management, including SQF Edition 9: Practitioner, Advanced HACCP, HACCP, Food Defense Management, PCQI Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP) Boot Camp, and ServSafe Manager.
