Jessica Scruggs

Jessica Scruggs has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Jessica began their career as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Eastern Washington University, where they designed and taught a course that encouraged clinicians to think beyond the dental clinic to understand aspects of behavior that impact public health. From 2013-2014, they worked as a Dental Public Health Officer at the Federal Bureau of Prisons. From 2014-2021, they worked as a Public Health Service Officer and Senior Advisor for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). During this time, they were also a Chief Of Staff at the Emotional Well-Being Lab, where they worked with Dr. Vivek Murthy to assist private companies, health care organizations, communities, and government agencies on strategies to address loneliness and social isolation. In 2021, they began their current role as Chief Of Staff at Little Otter.

Jessica Scruggs attended Eastern Washington University from 2010 to 2012.
