Michael Babcock

Michael Babcock has a strong background in perioperative services management. Michael has held various roles in healthcare organizations, demonstrating their expertise in overseeing operating rooms, post-anesthesia care units, pre-operative units, ambulatory care units, endoscopy units, central sterile processing, and anesthesia departments. Babcock has experience in growing orthopedic services by collaborating with surgeons and office practice managers. Michael has also focused on improving operational performance, boosting team engagement, and ensuring quality. Babcock's work experience spans multiple hospitals, including Littleton Regional Healthcare, Southern Maine Health Care, John Peter Smith Hospital, Copley Hospital, Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, Memorial Health University Medical Center, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Milton, Cabell Huntington Hospital, and Concord Hospital.

Michael Babcock studied Health Care Administration/Management at Ferris State University from 1974-1977. Michael then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Business at Canyon College from 2001-2002. Later, they studied Business Administration and Management at Franklin Pierce University from 1997-2000. In 1980-1982, Babcock also pursued Nursing Science at the University of New England. Continuing their education, they studied Nursing (BSN) at Jacksonville University from 2014-2015. Most recently, from 2019-2020, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Grand Canyon University.
