Anthony Diorio

Anthony Diorio has a diverse work experience that spans over multiple industries. Anthony started their career in 2006 as a Sales Representative at Kraft Foods Group, where they were responsible for managing territories and expanding business opportunities. In 2008, they transitioned to the healthcare field and worked as an Operating Room Nurse at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, specializing in various surgical specialties. During their time there, they also served as a Research Nurse and co-chaired the Evidence Based Practice Magnet Committee. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Nurse Manager in Surgical Services at VA Medical Center, overseeing multiple departments and increasing surgical procedures by optimizing operations. Anthony later joined Lourdes Health System as an Operating Room Nurse and eventually became the Operating Room Nurse Manager, responsible for the unit's daily operations, strategic planning, and staff development. In 2019, they returned to Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals as an Operating Room Nurse and also took on the role of Director of Sterile Processing & Perioperative Patient Outcomes. Currently, they are the Director of Nursing at Main Line Health starting from 2021. Additionally, Diorio has been serving as a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy Reserve since 2010, leading a team and performing physical health assessments.

Anthony Diorio's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Thomas Jefferson University, obtained between 2020 and 2026. Prior to that, they earned a Masters degree in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner from Thomas Jefferson University from 2008 to 2012. Anthony also holds a Bachelor of Nursing degree from Thomas Jefferson University, completed in 2008. Additionally, Anthony has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a major in Psychology and a minor in Biology from La Salle University, earned from 2002 to 2006. Alongside their educational achievements, they have obtained certifications as a Trauma Nursing Core Course from the Emergency Nurses Association in 2015 and a Lean Green Belt Certification from the VA Center for Applied Systems Engineering in 2014.
