Karen Comber

Karen Comber is a seasoned professional in the field of interior architecture and design, currently serving as the Senior Director of Interior Architecture at Red Sea Global since May 2024. With a rich history of leadership roles, Karen has also contributed as an Awards Judge for the LIV Hospitality Design Awards from 2021 to 2023 and was the Director of Interior Design for Boutique Group until May 2024. Prior experience includes positions as an Independent Consultant at Drees & Sommer Middle East, Global Director of Hospitality Interior Design at Drees & Sommer, and Principal Interior Designer at SSH Design, managing high-profile projects such as the Nokia Headquarters in Riyadh and multiple luxury hotels in the Middle East. Karen’s expertise encompasses hospitality constructability, project management, and design value engineering, complemented by a strong educational background in Interior Design from Brunel University and Art and Design from Doncaster College.
