Freya Strutt

Freya Strutt has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2014, they gained work experience as a Student at Seven, specifically with Sainsbury's Food Magazine. In 2015, they interned at the British Nutrition Foundation where they wrote articles, critiqued journal articles, and interacted with public inquiries. The following year, Freya had a one-year industrial placement as an Industrial Placement Student at Nestlé. Freya was involved in the design of a consumer infant 'weaning planner', using government guidelines and scientific research to create an accessible planner for parents. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Compass Group as a Nutritionist, where they wrote special diet menus, delivered education on nutrition to teenagers and children, and successfully executed a project to improve employee health. Currently, Freya works at Liva Healthcare as a Health Coach, providing coaching to people with prediabetes to reduce their risk of diabetes onset. Freya sets and maintains goals for their clients through follow-ups and motivational interviewing.

Freya Strutt's education history includes earning a Master's degree in Food Politics and Sustainable Development from the European School of Political and Social Sciences (ESPOL) between 2021 and 2023. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition (with an extra mural year) from King's College London from 2014 to 2018. Before attending university, they pursued an International Baccalaureate at Richmond upon Thames College from 2011 to 2013, focusing on subjects such as English, Maths, Biology, History, Spanish, and Psychology. Additionally, they obtained A Levels in Maths and Chemistry from the same institution, although the specific dates are not provided.
