Tamer Elbakry

Tamer ELBakry, M.B.A, is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Currently serving as the Marketing Manager for Cardiovascular & NeuroModulation at LivaNova since January 2020, Tamer leads marketing activities for the cardiac surgery franchise across the Middle East, Turkey, and Central Asia. Prior to this, Tamer held various roles at Sanofi from March 2007 to December 2019, including Senior Product Manager for the launch of "Praluent" in Saudi Arabia, achieving significant market positioning and sales growth. Tamer also managed renal products and promoted diabetes medications during tenure at Sanofi and Novo Nordisk A/S, where valuable experience was gained in diverse market sectors. Tamer holds an MBA in Marketing from the Arab Academy for Science & Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Cairo University.
