Wendy Porter is an accomplished professional in event planning and marketing, currently serving as the Founder and Chief Events Officer of Wendy Porter Events, LLC. Wendy holds the position of Vice Chair for Government Affairs on the National Board of Directors of the Live Events Coalition and has previously worked as Chief Events Officer at St. Olaf College. Wendy’s extensive experience includes leadership roles at UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement, where responsibilities spanned from Head of Events and Director of Marketing and Events to Senior Marketing Acquisition Manager. Wendy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics, graduating Cum Laude from St. Olaf College, and also participated in a study abroad program in German Studies at the University of Konstanz.

The Live Events Coalition is a volunteer-run, nonpartisan, not for profit national coalition of live event and entertainment businesses, their employees, and independent contractors. The Coalition provides advocacy, resources, and a network for the 12 million live events professionals across 50 states. We are hospitality, planners, caterers, talent, musicians, producers, technicians, general contractors, engineers, suppliers, manufacturers, and so much more. We are the live events industry.
