Oliver Chalmers

Oliver Chalmers has a wealth of experience in the design industry, having worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Oliver began their career as an Assistant Designer for Morgans Hotel Group in 2008, before taking on the role of Digital Designer for Threadshop in 2009. That same year, they also became the Owner of Serif Records, a house label showcasing both up and coming and established artists from the UK and Europe. In 2011, they joined Sony Music Entertainment as a Senior Designer, and then a Designer for the Digital Creative team. Here, they were responsible for conceptualizing, designing and building web applications and digital products for a wide range of artists. In 2018, they moved to Appear Here as Head Of Design and Product Designer, and in 2022 they began their current role as Director of Product Design for Live Furnish.

Oliver Chalmers attended Darien High School from 2002 to 2006, and then Leeds Beckett University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a degree in Contemporary Creative Practice in Graphic Design.
