MacKenzie Vegas

Mackenzie Vegas is an experienced event planner currently working at the Cardiovascular Institute of the South since December 2016, where responsibilities include managing, planning, and coordinating over 90 internal and external events annually for 21 locations. Additionally, Mackenzie has operated as a freelance artist and graphic designer since May 2012, specializing in personalized art and graphic design, including pet portraits and calligraphy. Previous experience includes a design internship at Gatorworks, where social media and website content were curated, and contract labor painting for Balfour House, creating custom hand-painted items. Mackenzie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University, earned in 2016, and graduated from Vandebilt Catholic High School in 2012.
