Katie Baker, LCPC, currently serves as an Affiliate Psychotherapist at Live Oak, Inc. since July 2018. With a diverse professional background, Katie held the position of Program Director at Elyssa's Mission from October 2014 to September 2017 and was the Program Director of Public Education at Mental Health America of Illinois from May 2012 to October 2014. Early career roles include Counselor Trainee at Chicagoland Psychologist L.L.C., Career Counselor at Roosevelt University, and Case Manager/Counselor/Intern at Ela Township Social Work Program. Additionally, an internship at WINGS provided experience in counseling women and children affected by domestic violence. Before transitioning into mental health, Katie worked as a Corporate Account Manager at The Cara Program and a Recruiter at The Advanced Group of Companies. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa.
