The Live Well Collaborative
Alex Gao is an experienced design professional currently serving as a Senior Design Research Fellow at The Live Well Collaborative since July 2023. Prior roles include a Design Research Fellow at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning from January 2022 to August 2023, as well as internships and assistantships in various design capacities. Previous experience encompasses a Product Design Internship at Enjoy Technology, Inc., a User Experience Designer position at Digital China, and a Graphic Designer role at Tianjin Arbulis Communication. Alex holds a Master of Design from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Arts in Design and Visual Communications from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts.

The Live Well Collaborative
The Live Well Collaborative works with industry leaders and University of Cincinnati students and faculty to form multidisciplinary design project teams. Over the semester, the project team uses a design thinking process that involves three main steps, which include in-depth user-centered research, ideation of products and services, and concept refinement. The Live Well Collaborative’s design-led approach, delivers innovative solutions across the lifespan.
