Ruonan Yan

Ruonan Yan has worked in the design industry since 2016. Ruonan began their career at Oogie Art as a Graphic Designer and Instructor, where they designed print and digital promotional materials and taught drawing, Photoshop, and graphic design foundation classes. In 2017, they worked at Yumi Kim as a Graphic Designer, where they were responsible for all email, website banners, and ad design. Ruonan also worked at Bruno Grizzo Studio as a Motion Graphic Designer, creating multiple animation videos from concept to execution. In 2018, they worked at Nobu Restaurants as a Graphic Designer, collaborating with the creative manager to design digital and print promotional materials. In 2020, they joined TopView Sightseeing as a UI/UX Designer and Visual Designer, completing 20+ projects through the entire design process and collaborating with a cross-function team to create thoughtful solutions. Currently, they are working at LiveAuctioneers as a Product Designer.

Ruonan Yan obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Dalian Polytechnic University in Visual Communications from 2009 to 2013. Ruonan then attended School of Visual Arts for Illustration from 2013 to 2014. Finally, they obtained a Master's Degree in Drawing from New York Academy of Art from 2014 to 2016.
