Douglas Navarro

Douglas Navarro has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Douglas is currently working as a Software Engineer at LiveFlow since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Carta as a Senior Software Engineer from May 2022 to March 2023. Before that, they were employed at Nubank, where they held the position of Senior Software Engineer from November 2020 to May 2022, and Software Engineer from June 2019 to October 2020. At Nubank, they gained skills in engineering, hiring, onboarding, and cross-functional product discussions.

Before joining Nubank, Douglas worked as a Software Developer at Digesto from October 2018 to June 2019, where they used Python and Shell Script for web scraping and text processing. Additionally, they completed an internship at Diebold Nixdorf from August 2017 to August 2018.

Douglas co-founded Code Decay, an initiative focused on teaching and learning, where they served as a Partner and Instructor from January 2017 to July 2018. Douglas contributed to the development of educational material, digital marketing campaigns, and prototyping of new products using the Lean startup methodology.

Furthermore, Douglas gained research experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at CITI-USP from August 2015 to July 2017. Douglas worked on projects related to swarm computing, embedded systems design, web micro-services development, and project management using SCRUM and PMBok.

Douglas started their career as a Technical Intern at Grupo PLL from January 2012 to April 2012.

Douglas Navarro completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specializing in Electronic Systems, from Escola Politécnica da USP. Douglas attended this institution from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Technical degree in Electronics at Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de São Paulo - IFSP, which they completed from 2009 to 2012.
