Hugh Carling has over a decade of experience in the digital industry. In 2002, they co-founded Liveline Media and served as Marketing & Product Director, directing the product development and marketing of the world's first fantasy music league. Hugh managed the switch from print to digital advertising, using a nascent technology called Google Adwords, improving ROI by 7000%. In 2004, they joined Conosco as the company's first Account Manager, helping it grow into being an integral department of what is now one of London's leading IT support companies for SMEs. In 2006, they started and led the virtual digital agency Liveline, creating apps and conversations to build brands. Finally, in 2009, they co-founded Liveminds, leading the growth of the business from a digital agency 'side project' to an angel-funded business with 500+ clients around the world. Hugh also conceived and directed the development of two 'industry first' digital platforms: a mobile qualitative research platform and a 'Behavioural Recruitment' platform.
Hugh Carling attended Stowe School from 1991 to 1996. Hugh then went on to The University of Manchester, where they obtained a 2:1 in Marketing and Media from 1997 to 2002.
