Aaron Rau has over 20 years of work experience in various roles. In 2000, they began their career as a Player for Werribee Tigers - Victorian Football League. Aaron then worked as a Human Resources Advisor and Human Resources- Mergers & Acquisition Lead for Godfrey Hirst Carpets from 2004 to 2008. From 2008 to 2011, they were a HR Advisor, HR Manager, and HR Director ANZ at Foster's Group Limited. From 2011 to 2014, they were the GM - HR, IR & Safety at Toll Group. In 2016, they Co-Founded Endorser, a company designed to help companies find top talent through social referral sourcing. In 2017, they Co-Founded BetterView.com, a tool to help organisations and talent find their best capability and culture match. From 2018 to 2020, they were the Chief Operating & People Officer at LongView, where they were appointed by private equity to consolidate to a singular entity, lift culture, embrace best of breed tech and drastically improve performance. In 2021, they became the Head of People & Culture at Liven, a fast scaling global tech start-up and winner of Richard Branson's Extreme Tech Challenge for Blockchain and Digital Payments.

Aaron Rau completed their undergraduate degree in Commerce with a focus in Human Resources and Marketing from Deakin University between 2001-2004. In 2013, they completed the World of Wine course from Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Aaron has also obtained certifications from AFL Victoria in Level 1 Coaching for Australian Rules Football, from Real Estate Institute of Victoria in Property Management for Real Estate, and from The Gordon in Cert IV Training & Assessment.
