Walter Czarnecki

Walter Czarnecki has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Walter currently holds the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Livent Corporation, a leading producer of lithium material for electric vehicles. Prior to this, Walter served as the President & CEO of OmniMetrix, where they tripled sales, increased gross margin, and reduced operating expenses. Walter also worked as the Vice President of Business Development at Acorn Energy, leading strategic planning and business development. Walter has experience in the renewable energy sector, having been the Director of Corporate Strategy and Business Development at Ener1, Inc., where they negotiated a successful joint venture and served as a board observer. Walter has also worked in corporate development at Gamesa and as an associate at China Renaissance Partners. Walter's educational background includes serving as the Manager of China Business Development at the University of Maryland and working as an Investment Banking Analyst at Lehman Brothers, Inc.

Walter Czarnecki completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and English at Bucknell University. Walter also participated in a study abroad semester at the University of Cape Town. Later, they pursued further education at the Wharton School and the Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania. From 2008 to 2010, they completed the Wharton/Lauder Institute Joint MBA/MA Program, specializing in Finance, Mandarin, and East Asian Studies. Additionally, they attended the Taipei Language Institute in 2006 to enhance their Mandarin Chinese skills. In 2023, Walter obtained a certification in "Executive Presence and Influence" from Wharton Online.
