Cheryl L. Savage, PMP has a strong background in program and project management. Cheryl L. is currently the Director Program Management at LiveOak Fiber, where they are leading the implementation of a fiber optic solution for rural America along the FL/GA line. With $150 million in funding, Cheryl is focused on disrupting the market and bringing world-class broadband to the homes and businesses of the Emerald Coast of Florida and the Golden Isles of Georgia.

Prior to their current role, Cheryl worked at Cox Communications as a Project Manager from 2015 to 2021. Cheryl L. took ownership of large wholesale, enterprise, and residential new build projects in the Southwest Region AZ. Cheryl L. established project management processes and methodologies to ensure on-time and high-quality project delivery. Cheryl also kept senior leadership informed of project statuses through communication presentations.

Before Cox Communications, Cheryl worked at Ritter Communications from 2010 to 2015. Cheryl L. held two roles during their tenure, starting as a Network Operations Manager and later becoming the Director of the Program Management Office (PMO). As a Network Operations Manager, Cheryl developed a 24x7 Network Operations Center (NOC) and implemented processes to ensure uninterrupted service. In their role as the Director of the PMO, they planned, executed, and finalized projects within triple constraints while effectively communicating project status to stakeholders and external customers.

Cheryl L. Savage, PMP has a diverse educational background in the fields of business administration, effective communications, human relations, and leadership development. Cheryl L. obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University. Additionally, Cheryl has completed the Graduate program in Effective Communications and Human Relations from Dale Carnegie, as well as the Leadership Development Intensive program from the New Memphis Institute.

In terms of certifications, Cheryl obtained the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from PMI (Project Management Institute) in July 2014. Cheryl L. also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from New Horizons, which they obtained in March 2013.
