Teacher And Art Subject Lead at Liverpool City Council

Jessica Cuddy has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Jessica started their career as a supply teacher at St John Fisher Primary School, where they also worked as an intervention teacher for small focus groups. Jessica then became a Key Stage One teacher and later took on the role of an NQT teacher in the same school. Jessica also worked at Knowsley Council as a Key Stage One teacher, where they were responsible for assessing, recording, and reporting on the development and progress of pupils. Jessica then joined Wirral Borough Council as a foundation stage leader and SMLT, where they provided structured support and coaching to staff members. Jessica's most recent role was at Exclusive Education Ltd as a temporary foundation stage lead, where they collaborated with the Warrington Teaching School Alliance to improve communication, language, and literacy in early years provision. Additionally, Jessica has also served as a board member for 12 Million Minds, a voluntary position. Jessica is currently working at Liverpool City Council as a teacher and art subject lead.

Jessica Cuddy obtained their Bachelor's degree in Geography from Liverpool Hope University in 2009. Jessica then pursued a PGCE in Primary Education from the same university in 2008-2009. Prior to their university education, Jessica attended Maricourt High School from 1998 to 2004 for their GSCEs. In 2019, they obtained various certifications including Mental Health First Aid Training and Automated External Defibrillator Training. In 2016, they completed the ECM Inspiring Leadership Course and in 2012, they completed Level 1 Introduction to Philosophy for Children P4C from SAPERE. Jessica also holds Qualified Teacher Status from the General Teaching Council for England, obtained in 2009.
