Alekh Vaidya

Alekh Vaidya has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in engineering. Alekh is currently the Director of Engineering at LiveWire since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Omnitracs from 2020-2022, where they held positions such as Senior Director of Engineering and Director of Engineering. At Omnitracs, Alekh led a globally distributed team, managed multiple projects, and contributed to all stages of the software development life cycle. Before Omnitracs, they worked at SmartDrive Systems as the Director of Engineering and Lead Firmware Engineer from 2014-2020. Alekh also has experience working at Qualcomm as a Senior Engineer and Engineer from 2011-2014. Alekh started their career as a Student at Carnegie Mellon University from 2009-2010. Additionally, they gained internship experience at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India. Alekh holds a degree in engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.

Alekh Vaidya obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, as well as Mechanical Engineering, from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from 2004 to 2009. Alekh later pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University from 2009 to 2010.
