Gary Lam

Gary Lam has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Gary most recently served as the Chief Technology Officer at Livi Bank starting in 2021. Prior to that, they co-founded Slashiee in 2020 and held the role of Co-Founder until 2023. Before that, they worked as an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley from 2019 to 2021. Lam also served as the COO of technology at Serai from 2018 to 2019. At HSBC, they held multiple roles including Head Of Program & Innovation, APAC from 2016 to 2019 and Head Of Credit and Lending, Technology, APAC from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, Lam served as the Co-Chairman (Board member, Technology) at eTradeConnect.net (by HKMA) from 2017 to 2018. Gary began their career at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as the VP, Head Of Programme from 2010 to 2016 and also worked as a Development Lead at CLSA in 2010. Prior to that, they held positions as an Architect at Suncorp Group from 2008 to 2010 and as a Senior Consultant at Vero Insurance from 2006 to 2008.

Gary Lam earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of New South Wales from 1996 to 1999.
