Ryan Choi

Ryan Choi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Ryan began their career at AIA as a Financial Planner before moving on to Richi Personnel as a Temp. Project Assistant. Ryan then joined IT Consulting Solutions Limited as a Credit Administration Officer before transitioning to ANZ as a Lending Operations Senior Officer. Ryan later joined China Everbright Bank as an Assistant Manager in Loans & Deposit Operations, and eventually became the Manager in the same department. Most recently, Ryan has been working at livi bank, starting as an Operations Manager before progressing to Senior Operations Manager. Ryan then became the Team Lead for Treasury and Payment Operations, and currently serves as the Head of Treasury and Loan Operations.

Ryan Choi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biotechnology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2010. In 2013, they obtained a Master of Commerce degree in Finance from Macquarie University. Ryan has also obtained various certifications, including Mathematics for Machine Learning from Coursera (2022), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist from ACAMS (2021), Microsoft Professional Program in Artificial Intelligence from Microsoft (2019), Professional Certificate in Artificial Intelligence from edX (2019), Associate AML Professional (AAMLP) from The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (2017), Foundation of Financial Risk from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) (2017), and Bloomberg Essentials Training Program (Equity, Fixed Income, Commodity, and FX) from Bloomberg LP (2013). Ryan has also completed a Machine Learning course from Coursera, although the specific date of completion is unknown.
