Melita Koulmandas

Melita Koulmandas is a prominent leader and entrepreneur, serving as CEO and Founder of Song Saa Private Island since 2009. In addition, Melita holds the position of Executive Board member and Vice Chair at Destination Mekong since July 2022. As Co-Chairwoman and Founder of the Song Saa Foundation, established in 2013, Melita has been instrumental in conservation efforts and community welfare initiatives in the Koh Rong Archipelago since 2006. Melita is also the Chief Creative Officer and Founder of Song Saa Reserve, which focuses on integrating design, solar energy, and hospitality for ethical business practices in Southeast Asia. As an Ambassador for The Living Building Challenge at the International Living Future Institute since 2019, Melita promotes sustainable architectural practices. Education includes ongoing studies at the Regenesis Institute for Regenerative Practice since 2019.
