Eli Sheppard

Eli Sheppard has been working in the field of machine learning and data science since 2015. Eli started as a PhD Student at the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics, and then moved on to become a Post Doctoral Researcher at Heriot-Watt University in 2016. During their time at Heriot-Watt, they also held the role of Computer Lab Assistant and Supervisor, providing academic supervision to a Computer Science MSc student and applying their expert knowledge of machine learning and data science in a teaching setting. In 2020, they moved to Lincoln University as a Postdoctoral Researcher, and in 2021 they began working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Living Optics.

Eli Sheppard obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in 2015. Eli then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from both Heriot-Watt University and The University of Edinburgh, which they completed in 2019.
