Hanna Nyquist has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2018, they served as the Head Chef at Tomm Murstad Sjøleir, where they prepared and served food to campers and instructors. Hanna also managed inventory, allergies, and dietary restrictions. From 2021 to 2022, Hanna worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Montana State University-Bozeman, conducting research in the Wiedenheft lab on the CBASS innate immune system and CRISPR adaptive immune systems. Hanna also worked as an Academic Tutor during this time. In 2021, Hanna provided COVID-19 Antigen Testing Support at the Gallatin City-County Health Department. In 2021, they also worked as a Food Expeditor and Hostess at Open Range. Currently, Hanna is employed as an Emergency Medical Technician at Livingston HealthCare.

Hanna Nyquist attended Montana State University-Bozeman from 2019 to 2023. Hanna obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In June 2020, they became a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. In June 2021, they completed certifications in Biosafety for BSL1 and BSL2 Laboratories and NIH Guidelines for Research Involving Recombinant or Synthetic Nucleic Acids through the CITI Program. In November 2021, they also obtained the certification in Biomedical Responsible Conduct of Research through the CITI Program. Their most recent certification is OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens, which they obtained in June 2022, also through the CITI Program.
