Craig Confer

Craig Confer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Craig started their career as a Cataloger at the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum from April 2008 to August 2010. Craig then joined Eagle Seven in August 2010 as a Jr. Quantitative Engineer before moving on to become a Strategy Developer from June 2013 to January 2015. In January 2015, Craig was promoted to Senior Strategy Developer and held this role until July 2017.

After a period of garden leave from July to December 2017, Craig joined SmartStream Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer in December 2017. During their time at SmartStream Technologies, they contributed to the development of TLM Collateral Management, a leading collateral management software. Craig played a crucial role in planning, design, and development of new features, and also led the migration of the front end to a new web-based UI.

Most recently, Craig has been working at Livly since August 2019 as a Lead Backend Engineer. In this role, they have been responsible for organizing collaboration between backend-focused developers and has played a key role in building various engagement-driving services. Craig also rearchitected event-driven multi-channel notification systems and took the lead in implementing automated testing.

Craig Confer completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Science from The Ohio State University between 2005 and 2010. In addition, they obtained several certifications from Udemy, including "Entity Framework in Depth" and "Ultimate MySQL Bootcamp" in October 2017, as well as "The Complete ASP.NET MVC 5 Course" in September 2017.
