Masaki Kataoka

Masaki KATAOKA possesses extensive experience in intellectual property and strategic leadership, currently serving as the Leader of the Global IP & Strategy Division at LIXIL since January 2018, where responsibilities include integrating global IP strategy with corporate objectives. Prior positions at Sony spanned from 2001 to 2017, including roles such as Associate Director and Manager in the Intellectual Property Division, focusing on IP strategies, collaboration initiatives, and patent portfolio management across multiple markets. KATAOKA has also contributed to various ventures and committees, including membership in the Steering Committee for Convida Wireless and participation as a Board Observer for Virtuosys. KATAOKA holds an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology and multiple engineering degrees from Hosei University.
