Luis Santa Ospina

Luis Santa Ospina has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Luis is currently working as a Full Stack Tech Lead at Lizit since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Home Capital Outlet where they held various roles. Luis started as a Junior Software Developer in January 2020 and progressed to become a Semi-senior Software Developer in August 2021. Luis then served as a Senior Software Developer from April 2022 to November 2022, and finally became a Tech Lead in November 2022 until July 2023.

Before joining Home Capital Outlet, Luis worked at Pygmalion Tech SAS as a Docente de robótica from August 2018 to November 2019. In this role, they were involved in executing an educational program that benefited over 600 students, improving their skills in technology, programming, and logical thinking. Luis also led a robotics program that enabled students to participate in national and international competitions.

Luis Santa Ospina completed their Bachelor's degree in Mecatronic Engineering from the Institución Universitaria ITM in 2018. From 2012 to 2018, they studied Engineering with a focus on mechatronics.

In 2022, Luis enrolled in the Institución Universitaria ITM again to pursue a short-term program in Integral Leadership for Human Transformation. This program lasted for one year and equipped Luis with knowledge and skills related to leadership.

Simultaneously, starting in 2022 and expected to end in 2024, Luis also enrolled in the Universidad de Los Andes to pursue a Master's degree in Software Engineering. Luis is currently studying software engineering at an advanced level with an emphasis on software development.

On the certification front, Luis has obtained several additional certifications. In February 2021, they completed the Professional Git and GitHub course offered by Platzi. In April 2021, they successfully completed the Professional Scrum course from the same platform.

In 2023, Luis obtained two more certifications. In February, they completed the Manipulation and Transformation of Data with Pandas and NumPy course from Platzi. In June, they completed the Professional Python course offered by CódigoFacilito.
