Cindy Yerkey, PE, RSP2I

Cindy Yerkey, PE, RSP2I has extensive work experience in the field of transportation operations and engineering. Cindy currently serves as the Transportation Operations Leader at LJB Inc. since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Jacobs from 2017 to 2022, where they held various roles including Jacobs Positive Mental Health Champion, Jacobs ACE Employee Network Co-Chair for the Americas Region, and Jacobs Transportation Group Lead. Cindy also served as the Principal Technologist, Highway and Traffic Safety at Jacobs. Before joining Jacobs, Cindy worked at CH2M from 2007 to 2017, where they held positions such as Senior Technologist - Highway and Traffic Safety, Transportation and Planning Manager, Traffic/Safety Engineer, and Ohio Operations Lead. Cindy also gained experience as a Consultant Project Manager at the Ohio Department of Transportation from 2004 to 2007, as a Traffic Engineer at ms consultants, inc. from 2000 to 2004, as well as a Traffic/Transportation Engineer at URS Corporation from 1999 to 2000. Cindy's early career included roles as a Project Engineer at Cleveland Construction, Inc. from 1994 to 1996 and as an Engineering Intern/Co-op Student-Nuclear Engineering at Fluor Fernald in 1993.

Cindy Yerkey, PE, RSP2I began their educational journey in 1991 at the University of Cincinnati. Cindy studied Nuclear Engineering and Construction Management, completing their studies in 1994. Cindy then pursued further education at The University of Akron, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation. Cindy successfully completed their degree in 1998.
