Kevin Nelson

Kevin Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Kevin began their career as a Sales representative at UCB Pharma, where they managed territory sales within a NYC district. Kevin then worked as an Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical Representative at Johnson & Johnson. Kevin later joined Lash Group as a Program Manager, before transitioning to Genentech as a Senior Supervisor and eventually becoming a Program Manager for the Genentech Access to Care Foundation.

Kevin then worked at Allergan in various roles, including Director, Reimbursement Operations - Managed Markets, National Director, Managed Markets Specialists-Obesity, and Product Director, Payer Marketing. During their tenure at Allergan, they played a significant role in launching various initiatives and managing teams.

Following their time at Allergan, Kevin served as the Vice President of Surgical Services Development at Cedars-Sinai Marina Del Rey Hospital. Kevin was responsible for developing and implementing business and marketing plans for the hospital's key surgical service lines. Kevin also managed operational efficiency and contract performance.

Kevin then took on the role of Vice President of Business Development at Sovereign Healthcare, where they worked closely with physician specialists and health systems to develop and execute strategic plans for the next phase of healthcare. Kevin played a crucial role in providing guidance, planning, and operational capabilities to empower partners in shaping their futures.

Currently, Kevin is the Co-Owner and Administrator of Beverly Oaks Surgery, where they continue to utilize their leadership and administrative skills to manage the operations of the surgery center.

Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated a strong track record of leadership, strategic planning, and operational improvement in the healthcare industry.

Kevin Nelson attended the University of Montana from 1988 to 1993, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders in 2005.
