Daniel Saxton has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources. Daniel currently holds the position of Vice President of Human Resources at LKQ Corporation, a role they have been in since 2020.
Prior to this, Daniel worked at Delphi, where they held the position of Vice President HR. In this role, they led the people agenda for a $3 billion business with 21,000 colleagues and managed a team of over 160 HR professionals. Daniel also served as a part of the Global Leadership team and the Divisional HR leadership team. Daniel held this position from August 2016 to January 2020. Before that, they served as Vice President - Human Resources at Delphi, reporting to the Divisional President, and overseeing a $1 billion revenue business with 1,100 colleagues globally. Daniel was a part of both the business and HR leadership teams in this role, from April 2014 to August 2016.
Prior to their time at Delphi, Daniel worked at Tesco PLC as an HR Director. In that role, they reported to the Group Commercial Director and led a team of 40+ HR professionals across the world, covering all of the Commercial business units. Daniel played a key role in designing and delivering the People Plan in line with business priorities. Daniel held this role from August 2012 to December 2013.
Before joining Tesco PLC, Daniel worked at Rexam PLC in various HR positions. Daniel served as the HR Director - Asia, where they were responsible for the HR function of the business in China and Indonesia, covering around 7,000 employees. Daniel developed and implemented the HR strategy in line with business drivers and managed key functions and a site relocation. Daniel held this position from May 2011 to September 2012. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of HR - Global Functions at Rexam, working with the Group Leadership team and functional Directors from September 2008 to April 2011.
Daniel's early experience includes working as a Regional HR Manager at Rexam Beverage Can from August 2006 to August 2008.
Daniel Saxton attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2009 for executive HR studies. Before that, from 2002 to 2004, they studied Business and Personnel at the University of Hull and obtained a 2:1 BA Hons degree.
