Fernando R. has a diverse and extensive background in HR technology and systems management. Fernando began their career as an HRIS Analyst at The Hudson Group in 2006 and gradually rose through the ranks, eventually becoming the Director of HRIS & Payroll. In this role, they managed a $1.2M budget and nine staff members.

After leaving The Hudson Group, Fernando joined Delek US Holdings as the Director of HRIS. Here, they led the implementation of SAP's HR platform, eliminating disparities in systems and adding self-service features. Their efforts were recognized when they received the HR Technology Professional of the Year Award from SHRM.

Fernando then transitioned to GLG as an independent contractor, serving as an HRIS Consultant. Fernando provided HRIS consulting services until 2018, when they joined Engage Search, LLC as an HRIS Lead on a contract basis.

Finally, Fernando joined LKQ Corporation, where they held several key roles. Fernando started as an HRIS Lead, leading various IT projects and system implementations. During their time in this position, they implemented internal dashboards, streamlined business processes, and delivered a Manager Self Service module. Fernando was then promoted to Senior Manager, HR Technology, where they focused on replacing antiquated HR systems and delivering efficient implementations. Lastly, they served as the Director of Human Resources (HR) Technology, overseeing HRIS, Workforce Management, and Payroll across North America, Mexico, and Guatemala. In this role, they led the modernization of HR systems, spearheaded an enterprise system upgrade, and advised on technology optimization and business strategy.

Throughout their career, Fernando has consistently demonstrated their expertise in HR technology and systems management, driving innovation, efficiency, and enhanced decision-making within organizations.

Fernando R. has attended Berkeley College but no degree or field of study information is available. Fernando also took a PHR/SPHR/GPHR Prep Course at Farleigh Dickinson University. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained certifications in HR in the Age of AI, The Agile Learning Organization, The HR Tech Workshop, and Performance Management Reimagined from the Josh Bersin Academy in 2019.
