Mariano Vila

Mariano Vila is a Partner and Managing Director at LLORENTE & CUENCA SL, a Spanish communications firm. Mariano has over eight years of experience in the public relations industry.

Mariano began their career as a columnist for Agencia de Noticias Roca-Agencia de Noticias Bariloche, where they wrote columns on the political situation in the province of Rio Negro. Mariano then became the Responsible Unit for Product and Networking at Instituto Nacional de Promocion Turistica. In 2010, Mariano co-founded PatagoniaBlogs.com, and later that year they also became an organizer for Roca Blogs.

In 2012, Mariano became the Market Coordinator of Asia, Africa and Oceania at National Institute of Tourism Promotion. Mariano held this position until 2013 when they joined Edelman as the Director of Public Affairs. At Edelman, Mariano was responsible for developing strategies for monitoring, alert systems, relationships, influence and strategic association for clients with government agencies and other public entities, both nationally and locally. Mariano also developed reports and political analysis.

In 2016, Mariano left Edelman to join LLORENTE & CUENCA SL as a Partner and Managing Director of their Southern Region. In this role, Mariano is responsible for leading and managing the communications strategies for LLORENTE & CUENCA SL’s clients in the Southern Region of Spain.

Mariano Vila received a master's degree in Communication from Universidad Austral in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mariano also holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires'​.

They are on a team with Albert Medrán - Corporate Director, Marta Guisasola - Partner & Chief Financial Officer, and Alejandro Romero - Partner & CEO, Americas. Their manager is José Antonio Llorente, Founding Partner & Chairman.
