George Songhurst

George Songhurst has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. George is currently employed at LloydsDirect as a Senior Software Engineer, starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Red Box as a Senior Software Engineer from August 2021 to March 2022, and as a Software Developer from February 2018 to August 2021. Before joining Red Box, George worked at Intercede as a Software Engineer from January 2018 to February 2018, and as a Graduate Software Engineer from August 2016 to January 2018. Their early experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Software Engineer at SmarDTV from March 2015 to July 2015 and at EchoStar Corporation from July 2014 to March 2015. Throughout their career, George has been involved in various programming, testing, and documentation tasks, as well as working with build servers and creating scripts for automation.

George Songhurst attended South Wolds Community School from 2005 to 2012. George then went on to study at Staffordshire University from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a degree in Computer Games Programming BSc (Hons). Their field of study focused on computer games and programming skills.
