Jessie Kern has extensive experience in journalism and editorial roles, having worked as a Report Production Assistant at LM Consultants since January 2021. Previously, Jessie served as an Editorial Intern at Slag Glass City from March to June 2022, and as a News Editor at Allured Business Media from November 2019 to September 2020, as well as at Northern Star Media from August 2017 to May 2019. In the News Editor position at Northern Star Media, Jessie oversaw the news section, assigned and edited stories, and managed the online news platform, utilizing BLOX CMS and InDesign for print layouts. Jessie began the career as a News Reporter at Shaw Media in the summer of 2018 after gaining initial reporting experience at Northern Star. Academically, Jessie holds a Master of Arts in Writing & Publishing from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Business & Professional Communication from Northern Illinois University. Additionally, Jessie earned an Associate of Arts degree from College of DuPage.
