Patty Brown has over 30 years of work experience in the communications and content development field. Patty began their career as an Editor at Phillips Publishing in 1991. Patty then moved to CommunicationsWeek, CMP Media where they were a News Editor and Senior Editor from 1994 to 1998. In 1998, they became Managing Editor of CMP Media's tele.com Magazine. In 2002, they were Editor in Chief of aviationnow.com at McGraw-Hill. From 2003 to 2007, they were Senior Executive Editor/Optimize Magazine at CMP Media. From 2007 to 2011, they were Senior Manager of Thought Leadership at BearingPoint. From 2011 to 2017, they were Head of Global Content at CSC, where they designed, built and led a global enterprise-wide Content Hub. Finally, from 2017 to 2021, they were Head of Global Content Strategy at DXC Technology, where they were responsible for messaging and content on DXC's corporate website, blogs, executive bylined articles, corporate magazines and research. Currently, they are a Senior Brand & Communications Strategist at LMD.

Patty Brown has a Bachelor's Degree in journalism and communications from UNC School of Media and Journalism, an MA in nonfiction writing from The Johns Hopkins University, an Executive Leadership & Strategic Thinking certification from Cornell University Professional Development, an Executive Leadership program from Yale School of Management, and a BA from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
