Jani Kavilo

Jani Kavilo is currently serving as an LMI Leadership Developer at LMI Finland Oy Ab since February 2024. From January 2019 to December 2023, Jani held multiple positions at NRC Group Finland, including Head of Maintenance, overseeing track and signaling maintenance, and Head of Unit, managing track tamping machines and ballast ploughs. Jani also worked as a Project Manager in railway construction during this time. Prior to NRC Group Finland, Jani was a Project Manager and Project Engineer at VR Track Oy from January 2009 to December 2018, also focusing on railway construction. Jani's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Knowledge Management from Savonia University of Applied Sciences, subject studies in Business Administration and Management from the University of Eastern Finland, as well as Nordisk Banteknisk Ingenjörs Utbildning in Banteknik from Trafikverksskolan, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Oulu University of Applied Sciences.
