Pedro Gonçalves is a Geographic Information System Specialist and Research Fellow at LNEG, with experience since October 2016 in the Mineral Resources and Geophysics Unit, focusing on the treatment and management of geospatial data for projects such as "Metallogenic 3D Models of Ossa Morena Zone." As a co-founder and Treasurer of Associação Portuguesa para os Sistemas de Informação Geográfica and a consultant at Freelancer Gis since 2011, Pedro has been involved in various projects that require georeferencing and data digitization, along with delivering tailored training sessions. Their prior roles include Research Fellow at LNEG from 2013 to 2014, Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Porto from 2011 to 2013, and GIS Intern, contributing to municipal emergency plans. Pedro's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Geographical Information Systems and Spatial Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the Faculty of Arts of Porto University.
