We are looking for a VP of Brand Solutions, Open World    The VP of Brand Solutions, Open World will be responsible for leading brand accounts, supporting clients strategically and tactically, and managing all day-to-day communications with the client’s stakeholders.

Reporting to the SVP of Brand Solutions, Open World, the ideal candidate will possess a deep care for client management, as well as a thorough understanding of brand marketing goals and the strategies needed to achieve those goals. This candidate will have a deep understanding of influencer marketing, emerging platforms, and how to leverage a wide variety of creators on those platforms. They will be expected to demonstrate expert client relationship management, process and project management, and management of other agency partners. This highly collaborative role will interface with multiple internal stakeholders across  business development, analytics, talent management, finance and creative, as well as external partners in management, development, publishing, marketing, and more in order to achieve the client’s needs. 

On any given day you might...

  • Work cross-functionally to lead strategy, planning, coordination, and execution for clients.
  • Establish and maintain a positive, collaborative relationship with all clients’ main stakeholders and guide them on all needs, questions and concerns.
  • Manage event and tentpole calendars on behalf of clients, and build activation strategies around each event that ladder up to the client’s goals.
  • Work alongside clients’ other agency partners and provide thought leadership on Open World’s areas of expertise
  • Manage PR & social media agencies on behalf of clients (when applicable).
  • Manage internal and external tracking documents.
  • Prepare decks for clients including but not limited to: program recaps, strategy overviews, creator suggestions, and more.
  • Lead talent negotiations and manage talent budgets on behalf of clients.
  • Work with the internal creative team to develop strategy,  presentations and reports.
  • Partner with activation and creative teams to kick-off various projects for clients.
  • Travel domestically and internationally on behalf of clients to either support activations or to meet with clients stakeholders in person (when applicable).
  • Deepen your knowledge of gaming creators while developing the ability to sell through these individuals on their unique qualifications and skill sets.
  • Occasionally support clients during nights and weekends, with a willingness to accommodate clients and partners working in multiple time zones globally.

Ideally, you have....

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in client-facing account management/project management role at a marketing/talent agency, publisher, or related experience.
  • A solutions-oriented, approachable disposition.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • A self-driven work ethic with team-focused coordination.
  • Have prior experience working on brand campaigns with influencers.
  • Deep gaming industry knowledge on the intersection between influencers, non-endemic brands, game developers and publishers, livestreaming, esports, and other domain-relevant participants and subject matter.
  • Experience negotiating multifaceted talent deals. High-value deal negotiation and program pricing skills.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
